Animal Care Centers of NYC is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician for overnight emergency animal care at its open-admission shelter. The role supports the on-call veterinarian by triaging cases, performing examinations and diagnostics, administering medications and vaccines, obtaining samples, assisting with emergency procedures and necropsies, documenting treatments, and coordinating with third-party veterinary hospitals. Candidates must hold a veterinary technology degree or foreign equivalent recognized by New York State, be licensed to practice veterinary technology in New York, and be willing to pursue euthanasia technician certification.
