Description
Amentum is hiring a Licensing Engineer for its Oak Ridge location to support civil nuclear licensing activities for advanced nuclear technologies and future new-build programs. The role develops NRC licensing strategies and submissions, coordinates technical inputs, maintains licensing documentation, responds to NRC requests and comments, and supports regulatory engagement. It requires at least 10 years of nuclear licensing, regulatory affairs, or related technical experience, strong technical writing and cross-functional coordination skills, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, with equivalent professional experience potentially accepted in lieu of a degree. Compensation is $120,000–$180,000, with health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
