Code Red Consultants is hiring a Life Safety Intern to work with professional engineers and subject matter experts on fire and life safety consulting projects. The intern will conduct on-site building inspections, prepare code compliance reports, review architectural and engineering plans, develop fire and egress plans in AutoCAD or Revit, perform fire protection system commissioning and inspections, and conduct fire stop special inspections. The role requires at least junior-year undergraduate engineering study, with ABET-accredited engineering or Fire Protection Engineering master’s enrollment preferred, and offers $26-$30 per hour. The position is not benefit eligible.
