TSMC Arizona is hiring a Life Safety Systems Construction Engineer for its New FAB Design Department in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on on-site supervision and management of the construction and installation of life safety systems for a semiconductor fab, including fire alarm, fire suppression, emergency responder radio coverage, firefighter air replenishment, and gas detection. Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, reviewing construction documents and submittals, performing inspections, responding to RFIs, documenting meetings, and supporting testing, commissioning, and final acceptance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management (or equivalent semiconductor experience) and 1–3 years of U.S. experience in fire construction or a related field.
