Description
The Lifeguard will work under the Aquatics Director or Aquatics Coordinator to monitor pool areas, enforce pool rules, prevent accidents, respond to emergencies, report incidents and hazards, attend training, and secure the pool when closed. The role requires YMCA lifeguarding or equivalent certification, current Basic First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Emergency Oxygen Administration certifications, and applicants must be at least 16 years old. The position pays $16 per hour.
