Description
The Lifeguard maintains swimmer safety, monitors water conditions and guest behavior, enforces safety rules, provides customer service, cares for the facility, and participates in ongoing training and practice throughout the pool season. The role is supervised by a Recreation Supervisor and requires a minimum age of 15, CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days, current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, swimming ability, lifesaving competence, emergency-care ability, and strong communication skills. The starting hourly rate is $17.35, with up to $200 in Lifeguard certification reimbursement after completing 200 hours.
