Description
The part-time Lifeguard maintains safe swimming conditions in a YMCA pool, deck, and surrounding areas; monitors the pool, responds to emergencies, completes required reports and equipment checks, maintains records, and participates in training and staff meetings. The role requires CPR/AED and lifeguarding or first-aid certification, successful completion of the Duluth Y’s Lifeguard Assessment, a background check, and the ability to perform strenuous water-rescue tasks. It reports to the Aquatics Director and offers retirement contributions, paid time off, family membership, discounts, and development opportunities.
