Description
The part-time Lifeguard supports the Y’s Aquatics team by maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas; monitoring the pool, responding to emergencies, checking equipment and water quality, providing swim tests, and serving members, guests, and program participants. The role requires American Red Cross Lifeguard certification with CPR Pro and First Aid, basic lifeguard skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently. It is scheduled for morning, day, evening, and/or weekend shifts and pays a minimum starting rate of $13 per hour with evening and weekend differentials.
