Description
The Head Lifeguard maintains safe swimming conditions in the YMCA of Montclair pool, deck, and surrounding areas; supervises lifeguards and members; performs hazard checks, chemical testing, equipment checks, and recordkeeping; and serves as a shift supervisor when assigned by the Aquatics Director. The role requires lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, physical readiness, and the ability to pass a lifeguard skills assessment and water test. The schedule includes weekday evenings and weekend shifts, with hourly pay of $16.13–$19.00.
