The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring a Lifeguard for its Parks & Recreation department at Dimond Pool and West Pool in Anchorage, Alaska. The role provides lifeguarding, aquatic-facility maintenance, participant supervision, water-safety instruction, facility and ground security, and water-quality maintenance. Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, one year of lifeguard experience, and swim-instructor experience, along with specified American Red Cross and aquatic-operator certifications. The position is open to the general public and current Municipal employees, with AMEA employees receiving priority consideration.
