Oper Leipzig is hiring a full-time Lighting Technician for its Technical Directorate – Lighting division in the Musical Comedy assignment. The role involves setting up and dismantling lighting for rehearsals, performances, and events; supervising rehearsals and performances; inspecting electrical equipment; documenting lighting systems; and working in a team. Applicants need completed training as an event technician, electrician, or electrical engineer; theatre lighting or events experience is desirable. The fixed-term contract runs until 31 July 2027 and can be extended, with work hours of 39 per week and possible weekend or public-holiday assignments.
