Description
The Line Maintenance Supervisor provides direction and supervision to a team of technicians supporting line maintenance operations, ensuring aircraft airworthiness, maintenance quality, documentation, material availability, and compliance with M.C.M. and Transport Canada requirements. The role includes coordinating maintenance activities, coaching and managing direct reports, recruiting team members, participating in union and grievance activities, and assuming the duties of the Manager, Line Maintenance when requested. Required qualifications include a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license, a Canadian driver’s license, an RAIC and AVOP, at least five years of line maintenance experience, and the ability to work varying shifts; Montreal positions require English and French fluency. Preferred qualifications include type certification on CRJ 900, Dash 8 Q400, and/or E175, at least two years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment, collective agreement experience, and French fluency.
