Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Five years of previous food preparation experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of a 2-year culinary degree is highly desirable.
Basic understanding of menu development, costing, and execution.
Knowledge of inventory systems and practices, including ordering/receiving and storage management.
Strong communication skills with both front and back-of-house staff.
Ability to identify and resolve kitchen-related issues.
Commitment to ensuring high food quality and presentation, and promptly addressing any issues.
Accurate and timely completion of orders.
Efficient cost control by minimizing waste and accurate preparation.
Proper labeling, rotation, and storage of all products.
Maintaining organized cooler, storage room, and reach-in areas.
Ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
Adherence to good safety practices.
Building positive working relationships and effective communication across all departments.
