The People Concern is hiring one full-time Line Cook for its 1002-Daybreak Shelter at the Cloverfield Services Center in Santa Monica, California. The role is 100% onsite and runs Thursday through Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday availability. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, maintaining food quality and presentation, handling perishables, cleaning and inventorying the kitchen, receiving deliveries, and transporting meals. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen or catering operation, a valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, English communication skills, and a California Food Handler’s Certificate; Serve Safe certification and culinary school are preferred.
