Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production machinery, clearing jams, weighing and documenting materials, recording downtime and safety or quality issues, troubleshooting machine problems, and communicating with supervisors. The role also leads co-workers and material handlers in process flow, maintains the assigned area, and requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform climbing, bending, crouching, stooping, and reaching. Communication, troubleshooting, basic math, organizational, and manual-dexterity skills are required.
