Description
The Eugene Water & Electric Board is hiring a Journey-level Line Technician to work as part of a crew constructing, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electric power systems, including transmission, distribution, overhead, underground, and transformer and switch work. The role requires pole-climbing, hot-stick and underground-cable work, knowledge of utility safety codes, and the ability to mentor apprentices. It is based in Eugene, Oregon, with a Monday–Thursday 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and an automated call-out system for emergency response and storm damage restoration. The starting salary is $70.35, and applicants must have completed an approved three-year Line Technician Apprentice course, hold a Class A CDL, and pass post-offer background, physical, and drug screening.
