Description
Eversource is hiring one Lineworker to construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and associated facilities. The role includes rigging poles, installing transformers and other equipment, replacing fuses, working on underground and energized equipment, and performing storm restoration and emergency assignments. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and pass the CAST aptitude test; a Class A CDL with an “O” endorsement and line school experience are preferred. The position is part of an 18-month Apprentice Lineworker Training Program, pays $40.36 per hour, and requires union membership.
