Description
Jane Street is hiring a Linux Engineering intern to work alongside full-time employees on real-world projects involving Linux systems, production trading infrastructure, kernel and firmware issues, monitoring, diagnostics, and infrastructure automation. The intern will also participate in operational troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. The role requires knowledge of operating systems and computer architecture, systems programming, basic networking, Linux command-line and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to write robust software.
