Optiver is hiring a Linux Engineer to design, build, and operate critical bare-metal Linux infrastructure and on-prem Kubernetes clusters supporting its trading environment. The role covers Kubernetes platform evolution, infrastructure lifecycle management, performance tuning, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, observability, security, reliability, and operational documentation. Candidates need strong production Linux systems engineering experience, hands-on on-prem Kubernetes experience, and expertise with Rancher, Cilium, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, networking, and incident response. No prior trading or financial experience is required.
