Description
The Research Information Systems Engineer designs, implements, and maintains research infrastructure, automation, applications, and systems. The role provides technical support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security hardening, backup and recovery, change control, business continuity, and governance for Linux-based research environments. It requires experience managing Linux environments, an associate's degree or equivalent education and experience, and at least two years of relevant experience; preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree, four or more years of experience, and expertise with RHEL, Ubuntu, Ansible, GitLab, and compliance standards.
