FERCHAU is hiring a Linux Software Developer to support an experienced customer project. The role develops and maintains embedded Linux software for electronic assemblies in military vehicles, implements safety-critical C/C++ features, creates and adapts device drivers in Yocto-based environments, and supports software design, verification, integration, troubleshooting, and system testing. Candidates need a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, several years of embedded Linux software development experience, strong C/C++ and Python knowledge, embedded Linux build-system experience, and very good German and English skills. The position offers an unlimited employment contract and training opportunities.
