Qualcomm’s Mexico Branch Office is hiring a Linux Administrator (IT Senior Engineer) to manage Linux, Solaris, and VMware infrastructure across production locations. The role includes configuring and deploying servers, administering physical and virtual UNIX hosts, troubleshooting service availability, managing storage and clustering technologies, performing PXE and package-management tasks, and acting as an escalation point for technical and process issues. Candidates need 3+ years of IT-related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years without a bachelor’s degree, along with knowledge of UNIX, Ansible, scripting, and related server technologies.
