Description
The client is hiring a Senior SRE (Linux) to build and operate Linux-based infrastructure across a large-scale hybrid AWS and on-premises environment. The role owns OS configuration, automation, AMIs, container base images, system services, production debugging, reliability, security, and FedRAMP-related requirements, while working across C, Go, Python, and Ruby. The position requires 7+ years of production Linux experience, strong automation skills, and comfort with cloud and on-premises environments; Docker, Kubernetes, AMI or container image building, and systems-level languages are preferred. The stated rate is $65-$70 per hour, and the role includes a sustainable on-call rotation of approximately 16 days per year.
