The role manages Linux-based card-payment processing systems, including authorization, fraud prevention, process control, change and incident management, release and patch management, job and process orchestration, monitoring, and operational optimization. It also supports regulatory audits, cross-project application work, and prospective 24/7 technical on-call duty. Candidates need a computer science, mathematics, or comparable IT qualification, initial experience administering transaction-based online systems, Linux knowledge, scripting or programming experience, SQL and database knowledge, web-protocol knowledge, strong analytical and logical skills, and German and English proficiency at C2 level.
