INSPYR Solutions is hiring a Senior Linux Systems Engineer in Houston, Texas, for a permanent direct-hire role requiring onsite work two to three days per week. The role leads enterprise infrastructure modernization and provides technical leadership across Linux, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments. Responsibilities include administering and hardening Linux systems, managing hypervisors and storage platforms, optimizing infrastructure performance and capacity, supporting high availability and security, leading infrastructure projects, and mentoring team members. The position requires at least six years of progressive experience supporting enterprise Linux, virtualization, and storage environments, along with expertise in Linux administration, enterprise hypervisors, storage technologies, infrastructure automation, cloud services, and infrastructure security.
