Description
The Paramount Literacy Coach reports to the School Director or Principal and supports K–3 educators by co-planning lessons, modeling and co-teaching, providing professional development on the science of reading, using formative assessment and student achievement data, and implementing evidence-based literacy practices. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of teaching experience, a valid Indiana Teacher’s License, and expertise in literacy pedagogy; a master’s degree and early literacy endorsement are preferred. The position works primarily indoors in an office and school environment, with additional evenings, weekends, and event-related hours as needed.
