The Hanover is hiring an Attorney to join its Texas Staff Counsel group and defend insureds in professional liability, D&O, real estate/title, HOA, general liability, and other civil litigation matters. The role handles demand letters, agency charges, subpoenas, lawsuits, investigations, pleadings, motions, depositions, discovery, mediations, arbitrations, settlements, and trials, while advising insureds and claim professionals. Applicants must be licensed in Texas and have at least 10 years of civil litigation experience; the position offers remote, in-office, or hybrid work and requires travel and personal appearance for hearings and other proceedings.
