Description
The role manages and expands plant collections and landscapes for a botanical garden, selecting species, researching cultivation information, maintaining detailed plant records, and performing landscape installation, maintenance, irrigation, propagation, and display work. It also involves operating equipment, leading volunteers, supporting public-facing displays, and working outdoors in all weather. The position requires 3–4 years of relevant horticulture experience, an associate’s or B.S. degree in a related field, plant-identification and pest-control knowledge, database and Microsoft Office proficiency, and weekend or holiday availability.
