Booz Allen is hiring a remote LLM Engineer in Okinawa, Japan, to support the development, integration, and sustainment of AI-enabled workflows and knowledge management solutions for a federal client. The role focuses on document ingestion, retrieval, metadata and semantic chunking, relationship extraction, prompt engineering, RAG, orchestration, cloud and database integration, and evaluation of emerging AI technologies. Candidates need at least two years of Python software development experience, LLM or RAG experience, Agile experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; a relevant bachelor's degree is required. The projected annualized compensation is $99,000 to $225,000 USD, with benefits available to eligible full-time and part-time employees.
