Description
The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence through daily living skills, personal care, community participation, safety monitoring, documentation, and transportation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Missouri Class E Chauffeur’s license, DOT physical, CPR/First Aid, and other specified certifications, along with at least four years of personal driving experience and the ability to pass a Missouri DOT physical. Duties include transporting individuals, assisting with mobility and personal-care tasks, administering medications, maintaining vehicles, and completing required documentation and training.
