Description
The Pit/Production Loader Operator safely and efficiently operates a loader in a mining or quarry environment to load rock and gravel into haul trucks, conveyors, or feeders. The role includes material handling, equipment controls and attachments, routine safety and mechanical checks, production coordination, documentation, and potentially directing or training other operators. A valid driver's license is required, while a high school diploma or equivalent and equipment-operation certification are preferred; prior large-loader experience is preferred. The stated hourly range is $27.48 to $41.21, excluding discretionary bonuses or equity.
