The Heavy Equipment Operator safely operates heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and dump trucks. The role includes preventative maintenance, pre-shift inspections, crew collaboration, quality and safety compliance, feedback, and corrective action. It requires at least three years of industrial or commercial construction experience, the ability to read drawings and specifications, effective communication, and the capacity to perform physically demanding work in varying outdoor conditions.
