Description

Lead and coordinate the execution of activities within the Loads group, ensuring high-quality work and fostering continuous improvement. This role involves defining scopes, validating efforts, acting as a peer reviewer and technical approver, and taking ownership of problem resolution. The individual will lead aircraft-level investigations, maintain relationships with leadership, and drive knowledge domain development, strategic technology, and innovation. Responsibilities also include developing and documenting activities in Bombardier's Engineering System, proposing technical innovations, advising on emerging techniques to enhance aircraft efficiency, and coordinating talent development within the Loads group.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Over 20 years of relevant experience in the loads domain within the aerospace industry.
More than 10 years of experience leading a team of engineers working on loads assessments, from planning and execution to risk management and project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: Higher education is an asset.
Strong organizational skills for planning work activities and tracking task execution within budget and schedule constraints.
Sound judgment to optimize work scope and define the appropriate quality level.
Good understanding of FAR 25 certification requirements. A strong working relationship with Canadian, European, and U.S. certification authorities is an asset.
Solid experience in static and dynamic aeroelastic loads analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
