Description
The Laredo Local Driver will secure and deliver flatbed freight locally and regionally, operating stepdeck and flatbed trailers and distributing commodities to customers. The role includes securing and tarping freight according to Melton policies and DOT regulations, preparing paperwork, assisting customers with freight matters, and working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional weekends, overnight, or overtime as required. Applicants need at least one year of OTR or regional flatbed experience, must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and should be willing to work irregular shifts.
