Description
The Class B CDL Straight Truck Driver safely operates a Class B straight truck to transport freight, conducts pre- and post-trip inspections, maintains required records, secures equipment and cargo, and may assist with loading and unloading. The role requires a valid Class B or Class A commercial driver’s license, air-brake endorsement where applicable, a Class B or Class A license, FMCSA registration, a medical exam, road test, drug screening, background check, and the ability to work in varied routes, weather, and terrain. A high school diploma or GED, interstate driving eligibility, and forklift operation are also specified.
