Description
The Forestry Purchasing and Yard Manager is responsible for scaling, grading, purchasing, storing, and selling logs; supervising trucking and rolling-stock operations; maintaining environmental, regulatory, safety, and data-transfer compliance; and supporting GLC wood-concentration areas. The role requires 3–5 years of forestry or related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-collection tools, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in variable weather. It is a 50-hour-per-week position with possible weekend and evening work, and pays $62,353.20–$65,000.00.
