The Logistics and Distribution Specialist supports hospital logistics and distribution by issuing supplies, maintaining inventories, compiling stock records, receiving and preparing items for shipment or vendor return, entering data, reconciling discrepancies, tracking shortages and backorders, processing returns, and preparing bills of lading. The role works in the York Hospital operating room, follows rotating evening and weekend schedules, and requires a high school diploma or GED plus less than one year of related experience.
