Description
The Dispatch Coordinator plans and optimizes delivery, donation, and transfer routes; monitors fleet activity through Samsara telematics; coordinates drivers, vehicles, equipment, and schedules; communicates with drivers, stores, distribution centers, customers, and vendors; resolves service disruptions; and prepares dispatch schedules, manifests, records, and operational reports. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of dispatching, transportation coordination, logistics, or customer service experience, transportation software or telematics experience, strong computer and communication skills, and the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and lift up to 30 pounds.
