Description
The Logistics Coordinator oversees the transportation and delivery of goods, coordinating shipments with suppliers, carriers, and customers while resolving issues and optimizing supply-chain efficiency. The role includes negotiating carrier rates, booking freight, tracking cargo and equipment, managing customer accounts, entering data into transportation and customer systems, vetting carriers, and supporting drayage movements. It requires a bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field, at least two years of logistics management experience, international logistics and air-freight experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
