Description
Shaffer is hiring an on-site Logistics Coordinator to manage third-party freight planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments. The role coordinates freight from quoting and scheduling through delivery, partners with Purchasing, Parts, customers, brokers, vendors, and manufacturers, independently sources freight solutions, tracks shipments, manages exceptions and claims, monitors carrier and broker performance, and supports cost control and customer communication. The position requires 2–4 years of logistics, transportation, dispatching, or related experience and offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, competitive base salary plus commission, employee-ownership shares, retirement matching, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and paid time off.
