Description
The Plant Engineering Manager directs, schedules, and controls plant engineering and maintenance functions across distribution centers, prioritizes facility needs, and develops a three-year capital plan. The role leads engineering projects, recommends equipment and processing-system modifications, administers predictive and preventative maintenance, manages budgets and records, monitors energy use, and ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and other regulatory requirements. It also trains maintenance and engineering associates and requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, along with 5–10 years of related food-industry experience.
