Microsoft Australia is hiring a Data Center Operations Management Intern to work onsite at its Sydney data centers. The role involves performing assigned operational tasks, escalating issues during high-volume activity, analyzing service implementation faults, improving service policies, coordinating warranty claims and failed vendor hardware, maintaining inventory systems, tracking and reconciling physical inventory, destroying data-bearing devices, and complying with security and data-management policies. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic asset, inventory, logistics, or supply-chain knowledge, current study toward a relevant qualification, Australian nationality or residency with eligibility to work in Australia, and the ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.
