Citi is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its Equities Electronic-Execution technology team to design, develop, and maintain a next-generation low-latency execution platform. The role covers algorithmic trading, smart order routing, dark pool and internalization engines, client and exchange connectivity, market data processing, testing, CI/CD, platform monitoring, trade reconciliation, and application recovery. Candidates need strong Java and Rust expertise, prior electronic trading platform experience, knowledge of automated testing and Agile/CI/CD practices, and understanding of low-latency system design; C++ knowledge and small-team management experience are advantageous.
