Vanderlande is seeking a Low-Level Control Engineer for the Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Istanbul Airport. The successful candidate will analyze and report system performance, debug issues, execute ticket lifecycles, perform preventive maintenance, and document procedures. This role involves working with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial networking systems, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 1-3 years of experience on one or more of the above items, as well as automated material handling systems
Preferred Qualifications: understandings on PLC, SCADA (WinCC), industrial networking systems including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, AS-I Network and PLC communications, experience in programming Siemens PLC’s
understanding of SQL databases and reporting, as well as the diverse IT components (preferable)
ITIL Foundation knowledge (preferable)
certification on one or more of the above items (preferable)
ability to create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings
excellent communication skills, writing and speaking, in the Turkish and the English language
residency in Istanbul or willing to move there, within commuting distance of the new airport
