Description
Island is hiring an experienced low-level software engineer to develop enterprise security and productivity features within the Chromium codebase. The role covers end-to-end research, design, and production development, collaborating with product, web development, security, and field engineering teams to solve customer and enterprise challenges across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Candidates need 6+ years of hands-on C or C++ development, systems internals or low-level research expertise, low-level design experience, and experience building large-scale real-time multiplatform systems; networking, web browsing security concepts, and Chromium or extension development are preferred.
