MacKay Contracting Ltd. is hiring an experienced Class 1 / Lowbed Operator to safely haul and move heavy construction equipment and attachments between project sites across the East Kootenays. The role involves operating Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations, loading and securing loads, conducting vehicle and equipment inspections, coordinating with dispatch and field teams, completing documentation, and assisting with equipment spotting and maneuvering. The position is based in Cranbrook, British Columbia, with travel to project sites and variable hours including occasional overtime or weekend work.
