Description
The Leadership School is hiring a full-time Lower Elementary Creative Arts Teacher to launch and teach a creative arts course for K-5 students in the Normandy area. The role involves developing and adapting lesson plans, supporting students in visual arts, theater, music, and other media, creating a collaborative classroom environment, collecting progress data, and implementing evidence-based theater instruction. The position reports to the School Principal and receives coaching from the Assistant Principal. A bachelor’s degree and Missouri teacher certification or willingness to become certified are required; a master’s degree and experience in a start-up setting are preferred. Compensation is $50,000–$75,000 annually, with benefits, professional development, wellness days, and advancement opportunities.
