Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides licensed professional nursing care to cardiovascular physicians and other medical staff, including triage, documentation, injections, diagnostic support, patient education, vital-sign and medication recording, EMR communication, and coordination of care. The role also supports Coumadin clinics, blood draws, pacemaker and defibrillator checks, medical forms, insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, safety checks, and cross-coverage. Requirements include a high school diploma, a current Louisiana LPN license, BLS certification, and experience with triage, blood draws, injections, and diagnostic testing; ACLS certification is a plus.
