Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse dispenses medication, implements physician orders, monitors compliance, maintains medical charts, conducts pediatric physical screenings, coordinates medical and outside-service appointments, prepares infection-control and supply lists, assists with crisis intervention and recreational activities, participates in behavior management, and transports residents as assigned. The role requires current New York State LPN certification, a high school diploma or higher, acceptable background clearance, and preferably experience with the program's population.
