Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in a Kaiser Permanente clinic, including focused nursing assessments and triage, rooming patients, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests and procedures, providing wound care and health education, documenting care, coordinating follow-up, and supporting complex-care patients. The role works under the direction of clinicians or registered nurses, follows established clinical protocols, and includes population-based screening, emergency assistance, workflow support, and peer mentoring.
